**Kochi:** Kochi Central ACP K. Jayakumar stated that police have gathered substantial digital evidence against businessman Bobby Chemmannur in connection with actress Honey Rose’s sexual harassment complaint. Chemmannur’s mobile phone has been seized and will undergo forensic examination. The ACP dismissed claims that Honey Rose’s complaint was a publicity stunt for an upcoming film, emphasizing the validity of the digital evidence collected.
While the defense claims the complaint is a publicity stunt for Honey Rose’s soon-to-be-released film, which features a woman’s revenge as its central theme, police have rejected this assertion.
Meanwhile, Honey Rose has vowed to continue her fight, announcing plans to file complaints against several YouTubers who allegedly harassed her online. She will provide police with details of around 20 YouTube channels that used her images in misleading and offensive thumbnails. Investigators are also expected to receive a copy of Honey Rose’s confidential statement today, which could lead to further charges against Chemmannur.
Chemmannur, arrested yesterday morning at his resort, was brought to Kochi police station late last night. He underwent medical examinations twice during the night and was questioned extensively by a special investigation team.
