Wed Jan 08 00:25:11 UTC 2025: ## NVIDIA Unveils Revolutionary GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs at CES 2025
**Las Vegas, NV – January 7, 2025** – NVIDIA today unveiled its groundbreaking GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs at CES 2025, promising a significant leap in performance and efficiency for gamers, creators, and developers. Powered by the new Blackwell architecture, the series boasts AI-driven innovations like neural shaders and DLSS 4, delivering up to 8x the frame rate of traditional rendering.
The series includes the flagship RTX 5090, boasting 92 billion transistors and over 3,352 trillion AI operations per second (TOPS), along with the RTX 5080, 5070 Ti, and 5070. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang called Blackwell “the most significant computer graphics innovation since programmable shading.” The RTX 5090, priced at $1999, will be available January 30th, with other models ranging from $999 to $549 launching in February.
Key features of the RTX 50 Series include fifth-generation Tensor Cores and fourth-generation RT Cores, enabling advanced capabilities such as RTX Neural Shaders and DLSS 4’s Multi-Frame Generation. Furthermore, RTX Neural Faces uses AI to create incredibly realistic digital faces in real time, and RTX Mega Geometry allows for significantly enhanced scene detail. NVIDIA ACE technologies also power autonomous game characters, creating more dynamic interactions within games.
The RTX 50 Series also extends to laptops, offering desktop-level performance with up to a 40% increase in battery life thanks to NVIDIA Max-Q technology. Laptop models will be available from March. The GPUs support FP4 precision, optimizing AI image generation and enabling efficient generative AI model execution on local hardware. New tools like NVIDIA Broadcast’s Studio Voice and Virtual Key Light further enhance creative workflows.
