**Hyderabad, India** – Mahindra & Mahindra has revealed the pricing for the fully-loaded variant of its electric SUV, the Mahindra XUV 9e. The top-spec model is priced at ₹30.50 lakh (ex-showroom, excluding home charger).
The XUV 9e boasts a striking design featuring a new front fascia, Mahindra’s electric logo, low-set headlamps, 19-inch wheels, a coupe SUV roofline, and connected tail lamps. Inside, Mahindra has incorporated a segment-first triple digital display, along with powered and ventilated front seats, a panoramic glass roof, multi-zone climate control, and a heads-up display (HUD) with augmented reality.
Safety features include seven airbags, ISOFIX child seat mounting points, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), an electric parking brake, and Level 2 Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS).
Powering the XUV 9e is a 79kWh battery pack coupled with an electric motor delivering 285bhp and 380Nm of torque to the rear wheels. Mahindra claims a range of 656km on a full charge, with a 20-minute charging time (20-80%) using a 175kWh DC fast charger. Home chargers of 7.3kWh or 11.2kWh are available. The vehicle also offers controllable regeneration and multiple drive modes.
The Mahindra XUV 9e will compete with the BYD Atto 3 in the Indian market, with future rivals expected to include the Tata Harrier EV and Tata Safari EV.
