**New Delhi, [Date of Publication]:** The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has released the admit cards for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 examination. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in, using their application ID and password.
The GATE exam, a crucial gateway for admissions to postgraduate engineering programs in IITs and IISc Bangalore, as well as for job opportunities in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and scholarships, will be held on February 1st, 2nd, 15th, and 16th, 2025. The exam will be conducted in two shifts each day: 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Results will be announced on March 19th, and scorecards will be available for download from March 28th to May 31st.
The three-hour exam will consist of questions on general aptitude and the candidate’s chosen subject. Negative marking will apply to Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs): one-third of a mark will be deducted for incorrect answers to one-mark MCQs, and two-thirds for incorrect answers to two-mark MCQs.
