**Mumbai, January 8, 2025** – The first Infrastructure Investment Trust (InvIT) Initial Public Offering (IPO) of 2025, Capital Infra Trust, opened its subscription on January 7th to a strong start. The company successfully raised Rs 703 crore from 27 anchor investors prior to the IPO opening, indicating significant investor interest. Prominent investors include HDFC Mutual Fund, ICICI Prudential, and several other large mutual funds and insurance companies.

The IPO aims to raise a total of Rs 1,578 crore, with Rs 1,077 crore from a fresh issue of units and Rs 501 crore through an Offer for Sale (OFS). The InvIT is sponsored by Gawar Construction, a road construction company with projects across 19 Indian states, working with government bodies including NHAI and MMRDA.

The IPO price band is set at Rs 99-100 per unit.
