Wamiqa Gabbi ‘beyond excited’ for return to Telugu cinema after 10 years with Adivi Sesh-Emraan Hashmi’s G2

**Hyderabad, India –** Wamiqa Gabbi has joined the cast of the highly anticipated Telugu spy thriller, *Goodachari 2* (*G2*), starring Adivi Sesh and Emraan Hashmi. The announcement was made by Sesh himself on X (formerly Twitter), who revealed that Gabbi will play a spy alongside him in the sequel to the 2018 hit, *Goodachari*. A new poster featuring Sesh and Gabbi was also released.

Gabbi, who last appeared in a Telugu film in 2015, expressed her excitement about returning to Telugu cinema and joining the *G2* team. She stated that working with such a talented cast is both “thrilling and challenging,” and hinted at a dynamic character. The actress recently completed a filming schedule in Europe with Sesh.

*G2*, produced by People Media Factory, Abhishek Agarwal Arts, and AK Entertainments, boasts a large ensemble cast including Murali Sharma, Supriya Yarlagadda, Madhu Shalini, and Banita Sandhu. The film, which continues the story from the original *Goodachari*, is slated for release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. A “thunder glimpse” of the film is expected to be released this month.
