**Chennai, India –** After a twelve-year delay, the much-anticipated Tamil film “Madha Gaja Raja” is finally set to release on January 12th, coinciding with the Pongal festival. The film, directed by Sundar C and starring Vishal, was initially announced in 2012 and expected to release that same year, but production faced significant delays.
The star-studded cast includes Vishal, Santhanam, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Sadhish, Nithin Sathy, Sonu Sood, Anjali, and the late actors Mani Vannan, Manobala, Mayilsamy, and Citi Babu. The film’s music was composed by Vijay Antony, and it was produced by Gemini Film Circuit.
At a recent press meet in Chennai, Vishal, Sundar C, and Vijay Antony promoted the film. However, Vishal’s appearance sparked concern amongst attendees. He exhibited noticeable tremors and speech impediments during the event.
Later, Vishal’s team released a medical certificate revealing that he is suffering from viral fever and is currently under medical care. Doctors have advised him to rest. Despite his illness, the long-awaited release of “Madha Gaja Raja” is finally upon us.
