RAJAMAHENDRAVARAM, Andhra Pradesh, Jan 6, 2025 – Two young fans of Telugu superstar Ram Charan tragically died in a road accident after attending the pre-release event of his upcoming film, “Game Changer,” in Rajahmundry on Saturday. The event was graced by Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party leader Pawan Kalyan.
The victims, identified as 23-year-old Manikantha and 22-year-old Thoka Charan, both from Kakinada district, were returning home on a motorcycle when they were struck by a van near Vadisaleru.
Deeply saddened by the news, Ram Charan expressed his condolences and sent representatives to the families, offering each a financial assistance of ₹500,000. He stated, “We want all the fans who came to the event to go home safely. This is what our AP Deputy CM, my uncle Pawan Kalyan, also wishes. This incident is unfortunate. I understand the pain the families are going through, and I share their grief. My deepest sympathies to the families.” Pawan Kalyan and the film’s producer Dil Raju also contributed to the financial aid.
“Game Changer,” directed by Shankar and featuring Kiara Advani and Anjali, is scheduled for a grand pan-India release on January 10th. Ram Charan plays a dual role in the highly anticipated film, which has music composed by S. Thaman. Fans are eagerly awaiting the film’s release and predicting a sensational box office success.
