**Jersey City, NJ –** Jersey City authorities are investigating the city’s first homicide of 2025. The victim, identified as 20-year-old Rahmiere Morris of Jersey City, was found with an apparent gunshot wound to the torso on Lembeck Avenue and Old Bergen Road in the Greenville section of the city shortly before 8:30 p.m. on [Date of Incident – needs to be added from original source].
Morris was transported to Jersey City Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead approximately an hour later.
