**ALLENTOWN, PA (January 6, 2025)** – A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 10 PM EST tonight for portions of southern New Jersey and east-central and southeast Pennsylvania, including areas such as Western Montgomery County and Lower Bucks County.

The National Weather Service predicts snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches, with higher amounts (2-4 inches) possible further south of Interstate 78. A coating to 2 inches is expected in most other areas. Snow will increase in intensity through Monday morning before tapering off in the afternoon and evening.

Motorists are urged to exercise caution due to slippery road conditions, which are expected to impact both the morning and evening commutes. For the latest road conditions, call 511. The advisory warns of hazardous driving conditions and advises drivers to reduce speed and increase following distance.

This weather advisory comes as separate news reports from Allentown detail a fire that displaced five people from a row home on West Chew Street. Emergency crews responded to the scene at 9:45 AM this morning.
