Sat Jan 04 16:50:00 UTC 2025: ## Telugu Superstar Ram Charan’s “Game Changer” Set for Pan-India Release
**Mumbai, January 4, 2025** – Telugu cinema’s Ram Charan is back on the promotional trail, this time for his highly anticipated political action thriller, “Game Changer.” The film, directed by Shankar in his Telugu debut, marks Charan’s return to the big screen nearly three years after his blockbuster hit *RRR*.
“Game Changer,” a Pan-India release dubbed in Hindi and distributed by AA Films and Zee Studios in North India, sees Charan playing a principled IAS officer who clashes with corrupt politicians. The film also features a dual role for Charan, portraying both the protagonist and his father. Kiara Advani stars opposite Charan, with S. J. Suryah and Anjali in pivotal roles.
Suryah, who plays the villainous Chief Minister, lauded Charan’s performance, highlighting his portrayal of the father character as a film highlight. He emphasized the film’s message about the importance of a transparent political system, a theme echoed by the enthusiastic fan reaction mentioning Telugu star and politician Pawan Kalyan, Charan’s uncle. Kalyan, recently appointed Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, is expected to attend the film’s pre-release event.
Charan, known for his collaborations with acclaimed directors like S.S. Rajamouli and Sukumar, discussed the similarities between Rajamouli and Shankar’s directing styles, describing both as demanding yet supportive taskmasters who push their actors to excel. He also shared an anecdote about Shankar’s meticulous attention to detail, recounting how the director adjusted his hair on set to precisely match a pre-production image.
“Game Changer” is slated for theatrical release on December 10th.
