**AUBURN, AL** – The No. 2 ranked Auburn Tigers dominated their SEC opener, defeating Missouri 84-68 in Neville Arena. Auburn pulled away in the first half with a decisive 25-11 run, extending their lead to 16 points. The Tigers continued their dominance in the second half, going on a 12-1 run early in the period to solidify their victory.
Johni Broome led Auburn’s offensive charge with 24 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 blocks. Chad Baker-Mazara and Chaney Johnson each contributed 13 points, while Denver Jones added 10 points and a team-high 7 assists. Tahaad Pettiford also chipped in 10 points.
