**KOCHI, January 4, 2025** – The Ernakulam Central police have filed a case against the organizers of the Cochin Flower Show following an incident where a woman fell and fractured her hand. The event, jointly organized by the Ernakulam District Agri-Horticultural Society and the Greater Cochin Development Authority (GCDA), came under scrutiny after 55-year-old Bindu Joseph of Chilavannoor reportedly slipped on a carelessly placed plywood board on Wednesday evening.

Police registered a case under sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (Sections 125 and 125(b)), citing reckless and negligent actions endangering public safety, and also under the Kerala Police Act 120(n) for conducting a dangerous activity without adequate safety precautions.
