**Rajamahendravaram, Andhra Pradesh:** A tragic accident has cast a shadow over the celebratory atmosphere of the “Game Changer” pre-release event. Two ardent fans of Ram Charan, Manikanta (23) and his friend Charan, were killed in a road accident while returning home after attending the event in Rajamahendravaram on Saturday night.
The event, which saw the presence of prominent figures including Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan, and other film personalities, drew huge crowds. Manikanta and Charan, residents of Gaigolupadu, were reportedly returning on a motorbike when a van struck them from behind near Vadisaluru. The impact threw them from the bike, resulting in severe injuries. They succumbed to their injuries while being transported to a hospital in Kakinada.
The incident has left their families devastated. Manikanta’s father is deceased, and his mother was supporting his education. Charan worked with his father in the fruit business. Police have registered a case and are investigating the accident.
The film crew expressed deep shock and sorrow upon learning of the tragedy. Reports indicate that the incident has been brought to the attention of Pawan Kalyan and Ram Charan. Calls are growing for the film stars to assist the bereaved families. Friends of the victims describe them as devoted fans of the Mega family, highlighting their enthusiasm for attending the event.
