**Nuzvid, Andhra Pradesh, January 5, 2025** – The second phase of the Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) Tech Hackathon concluded on Saturday at the university’s Nuzvid campus. Student teams from across the university’s various campuses competed, developing apps focused on safety and efficiency.
Two teams secured first place: Team INCOSS from the Srikakulam campus for their mess management app, and Team Glow Hive from the Nuzvid campus for their app aimed at preventing women’s harassment. Second place prizes went to Team Why Kings (Ongole campus) and Team Igniters (Nuzvid campus).
RGUKT Vice-Chancellor M. Vijay Kumar and Registrar S. Amarendra Kumar presented awards to the winning teams, praising the students’ innovative work and highlighting the potential practical applications of the developed apps for both students and university administration.
