A meeting chaired by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Saturday addressed the workers’ concerns following protests over unpaid wages.

Arrears are owed for the April-June 2023 period and February, March, and November 2024. Additionally, 36 former employees are awaiting payment of salaries, gratuity, EPF, and dearness allowance.

The government plans to boost the corporation’s income through initiatives like crop diversification, recultivation, and farm tourism.
