Sat Jan 04 08:14:34 UTC 2025: ## 14-Year-Old Stabbed to Death Outside Delhi School After Classmate Dispute
**NEW DELHI** – A 14-year-old boy, Ishu Gupta, was fatally stabbed outside Rajkiya Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya No 2 in Shakarpur, Delhi, on Friday following an altercation with a classmate. Police say the argument began during extra classes between Gupta and another student, Krishna. After school, Krishna, along with three or four others, allegedly attacked Gupta, stabbing him in the thigh.
School staff administered first aid before rushing Gupta to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A swift police response resulted in the detention of seven individuals – five minors and two adults aged 19 and 31 – in connection with the incident. Authorities are investigating the roles and motives of all those detained. Gupta’s body has been sent for post-mortem examination.
This tragic event follows a similar incident last month in Faridabad, where a Class 11 student was stabbed to death after a prior dispute. The frequency of such violent incidents involving school-aged children is raising serious concerns.
