**New Delhi, January 2, 2025** – The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened applications for the Common University Entrance Test-Postgraduate (CUET PG) 2025. The application process began on January 2nd and will continue until February 1st, 2025. This year’s exam features several key changes, including a new website for registration – exam.nta.ac.in/CUET-PG/ – replacing the previous pgcuet.samarth.ac.in portal.

The CUET PG 2025 is crucial for admission to postgraduate courses in various central, state, and deemed universities across India, including prestigious institutions like Delhi University, JNU, BHU, Jamia Millia Islamia, and Hyderabad University.

Significant changes for 2025 include:

* **Increased Application Fees:** The NTA has increased application fees by ₹200 across all categories. The general category fee is now ₹1400, OBC/EWS ₹1200, and SC/ST/PWD/transgender ₹1100.
* **Reduced Exam Centers in India:** The number of exam cities within India has been reduced from 300 in 2024 to 285, although the total number of global exam centers remains at 312. Candidates can now choose four preferred cities based on their permanent or current address, an increase from the two choices offered last year.
* **Shorter Exam Duration:** The exam duration has been shortened from 105 minutes to 90 minutes, with 75 multiple-choice questions.
* **Exam Dates:** The exams will be conducted between March 13th and 31st, 2025.
