**New Delhi:** The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced significant changes to the Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate (CUET PG) 2025 exam. The exam duration has been shortened from 105 minutes to 90 minutes, down from the initial two hours in previous years. Candidates will now have 90 minutes to answer 75 multiple-choice questions.

Other key changes include:

* **Increased Application Fee:** The application fee has been increased by ₹200 across all categories. General category candidates will now pay ₹1400, while OBC-NCL and General-EWS candidates will pay ₹1200. SC/ST/Third Gender candidates will pay ₹1100, and PwD candidates ₹1000. An additional ₹600 per paper is payable for additional test papers.
* **Paper Code Selection:** Candidates can choose four paper codes from a provided list. The comprehension section of the general paper will be available in English or Hindi based on candidate choice. Each question will carry four marks, with one mark deducted for each incorrect answer.
* **Reduced Exam Centers:** The number of exam centers across India has been reduced from 300 to 285. Candidates can now choose four preferred cities based on their permanent or current address, an increase from the two choices offered last year.
* **New Website:** Applications are open on the new website: https://cuetpg.ntaonline.in/. The application deadline is February 1st, with a correction window available from February 3rd to 5th. Exam centers will be released in the first week of March, and admit cards will be available four days prior to the exam, scheduled for March 13th to 31st.

The NTA has introduced these changes for the upcoming CUET PG 2025 examination, marking a notable shift from previous years. The 157 subjects available offer a wide range of choices for prospective postgraduate students.
