Fri Jan 03 02:59:34 UTC 2025: ## Ram Charan’s ‘Game Changer’ Trailer Unveiled; Epic Political Thriller Set for Sankranthi Clash

**Hyderabad, India** – The much-anticipated trailer for director Shankar’s Telugu debut, “Game Changer,” starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, has dropped, offering a glimpse into a high-octane political drama. The trailer showcases Charan in multiple roles, from a student to a police officer, and even portraying his own father, a people’s leader. The film also features Anjali as Charan’s mother and SJ Suryah as a corrupt Chief Minister, setting up a compelling conflict.

The plot hints at a tale of righteousness versus evil, a signature Shankar theme, with the trailer suggesting a possible assassination of Charan’s father, leaving his pregnant wife to raise their son alone, who later avenges his death. A star-studded cast including Samuthirakani, Srikanth, Prakash Raj, and Sunil supports the lead actors. Music is by Thaman S.

Produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations, and with a story by Karthik Subbaraj and dialogues by Sai Madhav Burra, “Game Changer” boasts a massive budget, with a reported Rs 75 crore spent on just four songs. Filming took place across various locations, including Hyderabad, New Zealand, Visakhapatnam, Mumbai, and Chandigarh.

Initially slated for a Christmas 2024 release, post-production delays pushed the release date to January 10th, 2025. This puts “Game Changer” in direct competition with other Sankranthi releases, including “Daaku Maharaaj” and “Sankranthiki Vasthunam,” scheduled for January 12th. The shift also means “Game Changer” will now occupy the release date originally intended for Chiranjeevi’s “Vishwambhara,” which has been postponed.
