**Adilabad, Telangana, January 3, 2025** – Khanapur MLA Vedma Bhojju provided ₹40,000 in compensation to a farmer whose cow was killed by a tiger. The incident occurred recently in Wankathumma (B) village, Utnoor mandal, Adilabad district. The recipient, Chahakati Jangu, is a tribal farmer from a village bordering the Kawal Tiger Reserve. Forest officials from the Kawal Tiger Zone and Birsaipet forest range were present during the compensation handover. MLA Bhojju, also a member of the Telangana State Board for Wildlife, personally delivered the cheque.
