NEW YORK – Fans of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit will have to wait a bit longer for new episodes. The popular NBC drama is currently on a midseason hiatus, but will return with new episodes on Thursday, January 16th at 9/8c.

While fans wait, they can catch up on past seasons and currently airing episodes on Peacock, NBC’s streaming service. All 26 seasons of SVU are available to stream.

Mariska Hargitay, who plays Captain Olivia Benson, recently spoke about her long-running role and the show’s continued success. “I love my job,” Hargitay shared, highlighting the strong cast and crew and the collaborative environment. She also described Benson’s character arc as “a perfect feminist story,” noting the character’s evolution and growth over the years.

In the meantime, viewers can also revisit their favorite episodes of Law & Order: SVU, as well as other installments in the franchise—Law & Order, Law & Order: Organized Crime, and Law & Order: Criminal Intent—all available on Peacock.
