**MUMBAI, Jan 2, 2025** – Hyundai Motor India’s announcement of its upcoming electric Creta SUV has boosted the company’s stock price by over 3%, closing at ₹1817.05 on the BSE today, a 1.11% increase. While officially launching at the India Mobility Global Expo later this month, Hyundai has already released a teaser video revealing design details, powertrain specifications, and features.

Bookings for the Creta EV have opened at ₹25,000, with deliveries expected to begin next month. The full price reveal is scheduled for January 17th at the Expo.

The 2025 Creta EV boasts an array of features, including all-LED lighting, active aero flaps, a panoramic sunroof, V2L charging, shift-by-wire technology, a digital key, dual 10.25-inch screens, drive modes, EPB, ventilated front seats, a redesigned center console, a 360-degree camera, and an advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) suite.

Two battery pack options will be available: a 51.4kWh unit offering a claimed range of 473km, and a 42kWh unit with a claimed range of 390km. An optional 11kW home charger can charge the battery from 10% to 80% in four hours, while a DC fast charger achieves the same in 58 minutes. Ten color options and four variants will be offered.

This positive news follows Hyundai Motor India’s October 22nd, 2024 listing on the Indian stock exchanges, where shares initially debuted slightly below the IPO price.
