**PANAJI, GOA –** A young man from Andhra Pradesh has died in Goa following an alleged altercation with a restaurant owner and staff, prompting calls for justice from his family. Ravi Teja, from Tadepalligudem, was in Goa with seven friends celebrating New Year’s Eve when the incident occurred on December 29th.

According to police, the group had a dispute with the restaurant owner over their bill. The family alleges this escalated into an attack by approximately 14 individuals, leaving Teja with a severe head injury and seven others with minor injuries. Teja succumbed to his injuries.

The family claims the attack involved sticks and rods, and they have demanded immediate action from the Goa government. They have also appealed to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan for intervention to ensure justice is served. Teja’s body has been returned to Tadepalligudem, where funeral rites have been conducted.

Goa police are currently investigating the incident.
