**PASADENA, Calif. (January 1, 2025)** — Kaiser Permanente’s vibrant Rose Parade float, “More Healthy Days for More Healthy Years,” took home the prestigious Wrigley Legacy Award for its outstanding floral presentation, design, and entertainment. The float, the organization’s 19th entry, showcased a sun-and-moon design representing a day of healthy living, emphasizing the importance of physical activity, nutritious food, and mental wellness.
The 55-foot-long float, created by Phoenix Decorating Company, featured a rainbow of carnations, meticulously crafted floral arrangements, and depictions of fruits and vegetables. Eleven Kaiser Permanente members and care providers rode aboard, while nine Special Olympics Southern California athletes and volunteers walked alongside, highlighting the organization’s commitment to inclusivity and community health.
