Wed Jan 01 18:32:37 UTC 2025: ## GHMC Worker Killed in Auto-Rickshaw Collision
**Hyderabad, January 2, 2025** – A Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) worker, P. Jamuna Bai (45), died in a head-on auto-rickshaw collision early Wednesday morning. Six colleagues sustained injuries in the accident.
The accident occurred around 5:40 a.m. near Nampally as Bai and her colleagues were traveling to work. Their auto-rickshaw collided with another traveling in the opposite direction. All victims were transported to Osmania General Hospital, where Bai succumbed to her injuries.
Shalibanda police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
