**NEW DELHI** – The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the answer key for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) held in December 2024. Candidates who appeared for the exam can download the answer key and their response sheets from the official CTET website, ctet.nic.in, or directly via this link: https://cbseit.in/cbse/2024/ctetkey3/.
The CBSE has also opened a window for candidates to raise objections against the provisional answer key. Candidates can challenge any answer they believe to be incorrect by paying a non-refundable fee of ₹1,000 per question.
**How to Download the Answer Key:**
1. Visit the official CTET website: ctet.nic.in.
2. Click on the ‘CTET 2024 Answer Key’ link.
3. Enter your roll number and date of birth.
4. Download the provisional answer key.
5. Follow the instructions to raise objections (if any).
6. Pay the objection fee (if applicable).
7. Download and retain the payment receipt.
A minimum of 60% marks is required to pass the CTET exam. Reservations and relaxations will be provided to candidates from SC/ST, OBC, and differently-abled categories as per norms. While clearing the CTET makes candidates eligible for teaching positions in government, government-aided, and private schools, it does not guarantee employment. It is one of several qualifying criteria for recruitment.
The CBSE will review all objections. If an objection is upheld, the fee will be refunded to the original payment method. The board’s decision on objections will be final.
