NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the provisional answer key for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024, held on December 14th and 15th. Candidates who appeared for the December session can download the answer key and their OMR sheets from the official website, ctet.nic.in, using their roll number, date of birth, and security pin.
The CBSE has also opened a window for candidates to raise objections against the answer key. Objections must be submitted by January 5th, 2025, with a non-refundable fee of ₹1000 per question challenged. The board’s decision on the challenges will be final.
The CTET is a qualifying examination for aspiring primary (classes 1-5) and elementary (classes 6-8) teachers. Passing the exam does not guarantee employment but fulfills a key eligibility criterion for recruitment. The examination was conducted in two papers—Paper 1 for classes 1-5 and Paper 2 for classes 6-8—in two shifts on each day. The provided instructions on the website detailed how candidates could access their answer key and file objections.
