**Palanpur, Gujarat, January 1, 2025** – A head-on collision between a bus and a tanker in Gujarat’s Banaskantha district early Wednesday morning resulted in the death of three passengers and injuries to twelve others. The accident occurred around 1:30 a.m. on a national highway near Soneth village.
According to police inspector H.M. Patel, the bus, traveling from Rajasthan to Rajkot, collided with the tanker. All three fatalities, men aged between 30 and 45, were residents of Balotra, Rajasthan. The injured were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. Investigations into the cause of the accident are underway.
