Wed Jan 01 15:30:00 UTC 2025: ## Beloved Helper Educator and Matriarch, Pamela Felice, Passes Away at 78

**Helper, UT – January 1, 2025** – Pamela Jean Felice, a longtime resident of Helper and cherished member of the community, passed away peacefully on December 28th, 2024, at the age of 78. Felice, a devoted educator and matriarch, succumbed to cancer after a courageous battle.

Born in Las Vegas, Nevada, Felice moved to Price, Utah, to attend College of Eastern Utah (CEU). She later married Frank Felice and raised three children in Helper. For over 30 years, she served as the Director of Religious Education at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, impacting countless lives through her dedication to teaching and faith. Former students remember her fondly for her ability to connect with each student personally.

Beyond her professional life, Felice was known for her vibrant personality, infectious laugh, and love of family and friends. Her hobbies included gardening, golfing, cooking, and enjoying music from Elvis to Ed Sheeran. She also held a deep love for classic cars, a passion ignited by her father’s gift of a Corvair at age 16.

Felice is survived by her three children, Richard, Sharon, and Gary Felice; her sisters Cheryl Stanfill and Linda Alvarez; her brother, Richard Stanfill; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

A vigil service will be held on Wednesday, January 1st, at 7:00 p.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home in Price, followed by a funeral mass on Thursday, January 2nd, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Helper. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Anthony of Padua Parish Center and CCD classes in Pam’s memory. Arrangements are entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home.
