The reigning SWAC champions announced the addition of All-SWAC First Team wide receiver Nate Rembert, who transferred from Mississippi Valley State University.
Rembert, a sophomore, had a breakout season for the Delta Devils, racking up 70 receptions for 1,038 yards and four touchdowns. His performance included a standout game against Florida A&M, where he recorded seven catches for 130 yards and a touchdown in an upset win. The Tigers averaged 189.3 passing yards per game and 27 passing touchdowns this past season. The team’s only loss was a non-conference game against Grambling State University.
