Among the notable appointments, Raman Gupta has been named Additional Commissioner of Police (Intelligence) for Bengaluru City. Vikash Kumar will now serve as Inspector General and Additional Commissioner of Police (West) in Bengaluru. Several officers received promotions, including Dr. Chetan Singh Rathor (Inspector General of Police, Northern Range, Belagavi), Amit Singh (Inspector General of Police, Western Range, Mangaluru), and N. Shashi Kumar (Inspector General of Police and Commissioner of Police, Hubli Dharwad). Dr. Y.S. Ravi Kumar was promoted to Inspector General of Police, Security Intelligence.
