**KOCHI, January 1, 2025** – The Kerala Cine Drivers’ Union, affiliated with the Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA), has launched a new safety initiative for passengers using their vehicles. A QR code displaying the driver’s name and ID card number will be prominently displayed inside each vehicle. Passengers can scan this code to register complaints directly to a dedicated WhatsApp number, allowing for immediate intervention. The initiative was inaugurated by FEFKA president Sibi Malayil, who also released a union calendar. Sohan Seenulal, the working president of the association, oversaw the distribution of new driver ID cards. This move aims to improve safety and accountability within the film industry’s transportation sector.
