Mon Dec 30 01:40:00 UTC 2024: ## Commanders Release Final Injury Report, Make Roster Moves Ahead of Game

**Washington, D.C. –** The Washington Commanders announced their final injury report Friday, ruling out five players for tonight’s game. The team also made several significant roster adjustments, including waiving second-round pick defensive tackle Phidarian Mathis and activating defensive tackle Jonathan Allen from injured reserve.

Hamstring injuries sidelined cornerback Marshon Lattimore, wide receiver Dyami Brown, and rookie linebacker Jordan Magee, all injured in the previous game against the Eagles. Right tackle Andrew Wylie is out with a groin injury, and undrafted free agent safety Tyler Owens is sidelined by an ankle injury.

To bolster their roster, the Commanders elevated cornerback Kevon Seymour and wide receiver Brycen Tremayne from the practice squad. Both players will be active for special teams and depth. The activation of Allen, a full participant in practice all week, fills a significant gap on the defensive line. His prior injury designation was solely due to his IR status. The team’s decision to waive Mathis follows the repeated elevation of Carl Davis from the practice squad, who is now ineligible for further elevations this season.

Backup quarterback Marcus Mariota, who missed some practices due to personal reasons, is available if needed. Jeff Driskel remains the emergency third-string quarterback. Newcomer K.J. Osborn will make his Commanders debut. Safety Darrick Forrest and guard Chris Paul are also active. Rookie linebacker Dominique Hampton remains the only player inactive for every game this season.
