**Belagavi, Karnataka – December 30, 2024** – A 26-year-old man drowned in the swimming pool of a private resort near Khanapur in Belagavi district on December 29th. Mahantesh Gunjikar, a resident of Khasabag, Belagavi, was at the resort with approximately 20 colleagues, employees of a multinational consumer products company. The group arrived at the resort on December 28th. Gunjikar’s body was recovered and released to his family after a post-mortem examination. Khanapur police have registered a case.
