**Mangaluru, December 30, 2024** – The Udupi Cyber Economic and Narcotic Crime police have arrested four individuals for allegedly peddling drugs. Police identified the suspects as Premnath alias Prem, Revunath, Shailesh, and Prajwal. The arrests took place in Neere, Karkala, where the suspects were apprehended in a car while allegedly attempting to sell narcotics.

Authorities seized a significant amount of drugs, including 37.27 grams of MDMA (estimated value ₹2 lakh) and 1.112 kg of cannabis (estimated value ₹87,000). Additional items confiscated include five mobile phones (₹41,000), two weapons, a bag, a car, and a motorcycle. The total value of the seized goods is estimated at ₹2.87 lakh.

The police investigation is ongoing, with authorities actively pursuing the individuals who allegedly supplied the drugs to the arrested suspects.
