**Patna, Bihar:** The passing of Acharya Kishor Kunal, a former IPS officer, former chairman of the Bihar State Religious Trust Board, and founding secretary of the Mahavira Mandir Trust, has prompted widespread mourning across Bihar. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar led the tributes, describing Kunal as a skilled administrator and sensitive individual.
Kunal’s death has elicited condolences from a wide spectrum of political leaders, including Bihar Assembly Speaker Nand Kishore Yadav, Union Ministers Rajiv Ranjan Singh ‘Lallan’ and Ashwini Choubey, numerous JD(U) and BJP leaders, Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rabri Devi, Tejashwi Yadav, and representatives from various other parties and organizations.
