**Theni, Tamil Nadu, December 28, 2024** – A horrific head-on collision between a car and a tourist van on Kaat Road near the Theni-Periyakulam border claimed the lives of three men on Saturday. The accident, which occurred around midday, left 18 passengers in the van injured.
The car, traveling from Kottayam, Kerala, to Theni, was reportedly unrecognizable after the impact. Three of the four occupants were killed instantly. The sole survivor was found unconscious and is currently unable to provide a statement to police. The tourist van, traveling from Theni to Yercaud, also sustained significant damage.
