AMARAVATI, Andhra Pradesh (December 28, 2024) – The Andhra Pradesh state government has condemned the violent assault of Mandal Parishad Development Officer (MPDO) Jawahar Babu in Annamayya district. Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Panchayati Raj and Rural Development K. Pawan Kalyan confirmed that YSRCP leader Sudarshan Reddy and his associates are alleged to have carried out the attack at the Mandal Parishad Office.

Mr. Kalyan vowed stringent action against the perpetrators, describing the assault as an affront to democracy and the Constitution.
