**Visakhapatnam, Dec 27, 2024** – Andhra Pradesh and Nepal have signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to boost tourism between the two regions. This is the first such agreement between the Nepalese government and any Indian state.
The MoU, signed Thursday, involves collaboration between the Embassy of Nepal, headed by Ambassador Surendra Thapa, and the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC), represented by Chairman Nukasani Balaji and K. Vijay Mohan of the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Forum. The agreement aims to promote tourism, foster cooperation, and share resources to enhance the visitor experience. According to a statement released by Mr. Vijay Mohan, the initiative will focus on knowledge sharing and collaborative efforts to achieve mutual tourism goals.
