**Ghaziabad, India** – A 17-year-old girl, identified as Kajal Singh, died by suicide on Friday after an argument with her father, police reported. According to ACP Indrapuram Swantra Kumar Singh, the Class 12 student was scolded by her father for sleeping instead of studying. Upset by the reprimand, Kajal reportedly hanged herself from a ceiling fan using a stole. Her father, Jaiveer Singh, discovered her and rushed her to a nearby hospital, but she was pronounced dead on arrival. The body has been sent for post-mortem, and police are conducting a further investigation into the incident.
