**Mumbai, December 27, 2024** – The release of the much-anticipated teaser for Salman Khan’s upcoming action thriller, “Sikandar,” has been postponed following the death of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Originally scheduled to launch on December 27th, coinciding with Salman Khan’s 59th birthday, the teaser will now be unveiled on December 28th at 11:07 AM.
Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the film’s production company, announced the delay on X, citing a desire to pay tribute to the late Prime Minister. The decision was made by producer Sajid Nadiadwala.
The first poster of “Sikandar,” released yesterday, featured Salman Khan in a mysterious and action-packed pose, hinting at the film’s intense storyline. The movie, directed by A.R. Murugadoss, reunites Salman Khan with producer Sajid Nadiadwala, the team behind box office hits like “Kick” and “Mujhse Shaadi Karogi.” It also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Kajal Aggarwal and is slated for release on Eid 2025. “Sikandar” marks Salman Khan’s next project after the 2023 blockbuster “Tiger 3.”
