Fri Dec 27 09:15:42 UTC 2024: ## Salman Khan’s “Sikandar” Teaser Release Postponed Following Death of Former PM Manmohan Singh
**Mumbai, India** – The release of the teaser for Salman Khan’s highly anticipated film, “Sikandar,” has been postponed following the death of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. The teaser, originally scheduled for December 27th, coinciding with Khan’s birthday, will now be released on December 28th at 11:07 AM.
The postponement was announced on X (formerly Twitter) by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the film’s production company. The statement expressed the makers’ condolences and respect for the former Prime Minister, stating their thoughts are with the nation during this time of mourning.
The news comes just hours before the originally planned teaser release. Yesterday, a first-look poster of Salman Khan in the film was released, generating considerable excitement among fans. The poster depicted Khan wielding a spear, hinting at the action-packed nature of the film.
“Sikandar,” directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, marks a reunion between Khan and Nadiadwala following their 2014 hit “Kick.” The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Kajal Aggarwal and is slated for release during Eid 2025. The 80-second teaser promises a glimpse into Khan’s new, unseen role and the film’s blend of action, drama, and emotion. This marks Khan’s return to theaters after a year-long break since his 2023 release, “Tiger 3.”
