NEW DELHI – Former Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh passed away on December 26th, 2024, at AIIMS hospital in Delhi at the age of 92. His death has drawn tributes from around the world, including prominent figures from the Indian cricket fraternity.

Former cricketers Harbhajan Singh, Virender Sehwag, and Yuvraj Singh expressed their grief on social media. Harbhajan Singh tweeted, expressing sadness at the loss of a “gentleman and visionary leader,” praising Singh’s calm leadership during crises and unwavering belief in India’s potential. Sehwag offered his heartfelt condolences, while Yuvraj Singh remembered Singh as a visionary leader and true statesman who worked tirelessly for India’s progress.
