Thu Dec 26 23:57:50 UTC 2024: ## CA Final Exam Results 2024 Released: Low Pass Rates Despite Top Performers

**New Delhi, December 26, 2024** – The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) today announced the results for the November 2024 CA Final examinations. A significantly low pass rate has been reported across both groups, despite exceptional performances by individual candidates.

Out of 66,987 students who appeared, only 13.44% passed both groups. The pass percentage for Group 1 was 16.8% (11,253 out of 66,987), while Group 2 saw a slightly higher pass rate of 21.36% (10,566 out of 49,459). These figures represent a decline from the 2023 pass rates.

Heramb Maheshwari from Hyderabad and Rishab Ostwal R from Tirupati shared the All India Rank 1, each scoring 508 marks (84.67%). Riya Kunjan Kumar Shah from Ahmedabad secured second place (501 marks, 83.50%), followed by Kinjal Ajmera from Kolkata in third (493 marks, 82.17%).

CA. Ranjeet K. Agarwal (President) and CA. Charanjot Singh Nanda (Vice President), along with ICAI Exam Committee Members, officially declared the results in Delhi. Results are available on the ICAI websites: icai.nic.in and icai.org. The November 2024 exams were held from November 3rd to 13th.

The low pass rates have sparked discussion, particularly when compared to the 2023 results which saw a 9.46% pass rate for Group 1 and 21.6% for Group 2. The ICAI has not yet commented on the reasons behind the lower pass percentages.
