Thu Dec 26 18:21:47 UTC 2024: ## ICAI Announces CA Final Exam Results: Low Pass Rates Despite Record Number of Applicants

**New Delhi, December 26, 2024** – The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) today released the results for the November 2024 CA Final examinations. A significantly lower than expected pass percentage has been announced, despite a large number of students sitting the exam.

A total of 66,987 students appeared for the exam. Only 11,253 (16.8%) passed Group 1, while 10,566 (21.36%) passed Group 2. The overall pass rate for both groups combined stands at a mere 13.44%. This represents a considerable decrease compared to the 2023 results, where the pass rates were 9.46% and 21.6% for Group 1 and 2 respectively.

Heramb Maheshwari from Hyderabad and Rishab Ostwal R from Tirupati shared the All India Rank 1, each scoring 508 marks (84.67%). Riya Kunjan Kumar Shah from Ahmedabad secured AIR 2 with 501 marks (83.50%), followed by Kinjal Ajmera from Kolkata in third place with 493 marks (82.17%).

Candidates can access their results on the ICAI’s official websites: icai.nic.in or icai.org. They will need their registration number, roll number, and captcha code to view their scores.

The November 2024 CA Final exams were held from November 3rd to 13th, with Group 1 exams taking place from November 3rd to 7th and Group 2 exams from November 9th to 13th. The results were officially signed today by ICAI President CA. Ranjeet K. Agarwal and Vice President CA. Charanjot Singh Nanda, along with members of the ICAI Exam Committee.
