**New Delhi, December 26** – The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) today released the results for the November 2024 Chartered Accountancy (CA) final examinations. A tie for first place was announced, with Heramb Maheswari and Rishabh Ostwal R sharing the top spot. Riya Kunjankumar Shah secured second place, and Kinjal Ajmera came in third.

The pass percentage varied significantly across groups. In Group 1, 11,253 out of 66,987 candidates passed (16.8%), while in Group 2, 10,566 out of 49,459 passed (21.36%). A significantly lower percentage of students cleared both groups, with only 4,134 out of 30,763 candidates (13.44%) achieving success. A total of 11,500 candidates qualified as Chartered Accountants. These figures represent a mixed performance compared to previous years; the pass percentage was notably higher than the previous year’s 9.46% (Group 1), 21.6% (Group 2) and 9.42% (both groups), but lower than the 18.61% overall pass rate in November 2022.

Candidates can access their results online at icai.org and icai.nic.in using their ICAI registration number, roll number, and date of birth. The exams were conducted between November 3rd and 13th, requiring a minimum score of 40% in each paper and 50% overall in each group to pass.
