**Night City, NC –** Cyberpunk 2077 players are embarking on a thrilling new quest thanks to Update 2.2. The “Balatro” crossover event features a scavenger hunt across Night City to find ten hidden Joker cards for a mysterious character known only as Jim B.
The quest begins with an unsolicited phone call from Jim B, prompting V to locate ten Jokers hidden in plain sight throughout the city. Players are provided with a series of picture clues, each revealing the location of a Joker card. The hunt must be completed sequentially; attempting to skip a Joker will result in it not appearing.
The ten locations, detailed in a newly released guide, span various districts including Westbrook, Heywood, Little China, and City Center. Locations range from a rainy bus stop and a Delemain building rooftop to a submerged dock ladder and inside various shops and establishments. Several locations are in Japantown.
Upon collecting all ten cards, Jim B contacts V again, revealing a reward: a new Joker shirt and a collectible card statue featuring Johnny Silverhand, Jackie Welles, and Rogue Amendiares. The new attire and statue are a clear reference to the Balatro collaboration.
While the trigger for Jim B’s initial call remains somewhat elusive, players are encouraged to simply wait in-game after updating to version 2.2. Fast traveling or time-skipping have not been proven effective in initiating the quest.
