**Hyderabad, India** – Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has pledged the state government’s full support to the Telugu film industry following recent controversies, including a stampede at Sandhya Theater and the arrest of actor Allu Arjun. In a meeting with around 50 film personalities on Thursday, Reddy reiterated the government’s commitment to fostering the industry’s growth.

The meeting, chaired by Film Development Corporation (FDC) chairman Dil Raju, also included Deputy CM Batti Vikramarka, Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, and DGP Jitender. Reddy showed attendees a video of the Sandhya Theater incident, underscoring the need for improved safety and crowd control.

Reddy emphasized the industry’s social responsibility in Telangana’s development, urging celebrities to take the lead in promoting awareness about drug abuse and women’s safety, and in showcasing religious tourism and eco-tourism. He also stressed the need for responsible fan behavior, stating that celebrities bear the responsibility of controlling their fans. He further announced stricter measures regarding bouncers.

The CM highlighted the government’s existing support, including special GOs for 8 films and the provision of police grounds for the filming of *Pushpa*. He announced the formation of a ministerial sub-committee to address industry concerns and urged the film industry to establish a parallel committee. He also stated that the government is working to attract Hollywood and Bollywood productions to Hyderabad. Investments in advanced technology centers and skill development initiatives were also highlighted as measures to boost the industry.

Actor Nagarjuna emphasized the need for government funding to elevate the Telugu film industry to a global level, advocating for world-class studio setups in Hyderabad. Director Trivikram Srinivas highlighted the historical contribution of prominent families like the Marri Chenna Reddy and Akkineni families in establishing the industry in Hyderabad.

Reddy concluded by reaffirming the government’s unwavering support, stating that the industry’s prosperity is a key priority for the state. He shared the commitments on X (formerly Twitter).
