**NEW DELHI, December 25, 2024** – The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) will release the first allotment list for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 counselling process tomorrow. Candidates can access the list on the official CLAT website.
Successful candidates will have from December 26, 2024, to January 4, 2025, to pay the confirmation fee and accept their allotted National Law University (NLU) seat. The process involves selecting either a “Freeze” or “Float” option.
Further allotment lists will be published on January 10, January 24, May 20, and finally, the fifth and final list on May 29, 2025. The deadline for payment of university fees (after accounting for confirmation and registration fees) for those who chose the “Freeze” option in the fourth and fifth allotments is June 10, 2025.

2. Locate and click the CLAT 2025 counselling first allotment list link.
3. Enter the required details.
4. Submit to view the allotment list.
5. Download and print the list for future reference.
The CLAT 2024 exam, for context, consisted of 120 multiple-choice questions, with a two-hour time limit and 0.25 marks deducted for each incorrect answer.
